FICTA May 2019 General Meeting

  • 27 May 2019
  • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dublin 6
FICTA is the national representative body for Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) in Ireland and represents some 1,000 therapists. In addition, FICTA is a member of the European Federation for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, EFCAM

FICTA and EFCAM bring together various professional bodies from the CAM industry, such as massage, reflexology, herbalism, etc. to work together to protect and promote the industry both in relation to legislation and professionalism, at national and EU level. The general meetings are a coming together of the boards of the various  member bodies and interested therapists from within the membership. All members of the IMTA are always welcome to attend.

If at any point you see an issue in the industry that you are concerned with, please pass it along to to the IMTA executive, who will review it in terms of what they can do alone but also bring it to FICTA and EFCAM if it has wider implications.

About Us

Founded in 1990, by a small cohort across the Emerald Isle, the Irish Massage Therapists Association (IMTA) was created to form a self regulating professional body for massage and bodywork professionals in Ireland.
