FICTA AGM & National Award Body discussion

  • 16 Feb 2020
  • 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar
FICTA  (Federation of Irish Complementary Therapy Associations) invites you, as a member of the IMTA to the Annual General Meeting, followed by an open meeting of information and discussion on the foundation of a National Award Body for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) in Ireland.

Initiated in response to the advice of the QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) and public concern around threshold qualification standards required for entry to the register of CAM Professional bodies, FICTA will be presenting a number of relevant points for your consideration and discussion.

FICTA envisages that such an awarding body will assure unified standards among practitioners not just in their chosen therapy but as professionals in the CAM sector, thus providing quality assurance to the public

Please confirm your intention to attend no later than Friday 7th February by email to fictasecretary@gmail.com
